Market Update: ETFs Rise, Equity Futures Mixed as Large Cap Earnings Continue

As earnings season rolls on, major exchange-traded funds (ETFs) showed gains in pre-market trading on Thursday, January 16, 2025. The SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) climbed 0.2%, while the tech-heavy Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) advanced 0.4% ahead of key economic data releases.
